What are the dimensions?

Does it plug into the wall?

The Solace Ice Bath only requires a standard household 220V AC wall socket and draws 2000 watts. It also requires a designated 20 amp circuit breaker.

Is there any plumbing required?

There is no external plumbing required. The Solace Ice Bath has a fully self-contained plumbing system. The tub can be filled up with any water source such as a garden hose.

What is the minimum temperature?

The Solace Bath can reach as low as 3° C.

What is the weight?

The combined shipping weight of the tub and water chiller is approximately 160kg. Both the tub and chiller can be moved easily with 2 people.

How often do I need to change the water?

As long as the chemical dosing container is topped up periodically there is no need to change the water however, if you ever do want to change the water this can be done easily through the drain in the bottom of the tub.

How long does it take to get to the set temperature?

This depends on your selected set temperature but on average once everything is all set up the water will cool down from ambient temperature to 7° C in 6 hours. The system will then only turn on periodically to maintain your desired temperature.

What is the warranty?

We offer a 2 year full comprehensive replacement warranty on all parts and components so you can purchase with peace of mind.

How does it clean?

The Solace Ice Bath has an automatic water maintenance system that will keep your water crystal clear. We utilise a combination of a 100 micron bag filter, Ultra Violet light and an automatic chemical dosing system so you can set and forget.

Can I adjust the temperature?

Yes, there is variable temperature control which will allow you to set the machine as cold as 3° C.

How do I install?

We provide easy to follow directions for the setup and installation of your new Solace Ice Bath and no technical expertise is necessary.

What are the ongoing maintenance requirements?

The Solace Ice Bath has been designed to take care of itself with minimal intervention so you can focus on taking care of yourself. We recommend you change the filter (it takes 2min) every 3-6 months depending on frequency of use and you will need to top up the 4L chemical dosing container approximately 3-4 times per year. We recommend that you use Hydrogen Peroxide H2O2 as a much safer and healthier alternative to chlorine.
